The TRON blockchain has reached a total transaction volume of $30 trillion since its inception. The network currently supports over 405 million user accounts and has processed more than 15 billion transactions. Its total value locked stands at over $28 billion, while the circulating supply of USDT on the chain exceeds $94 billion.

Data from Token Terminal indicates that TRON leads all networks in USDT transfer volume for the year to date, reaching approximately $6 trillion with a daily average of $25 billion. Furthermore, TRON holds a 34% share of the crypto payment card market as of the second quarter of 2026, according to CoinDesk Research.

Institutional adoption has expanded with the launch of the Canary Staked TRX ETF in September 2026 and the availability of TRX spot and futures products on the Bitnomial exchange. Anchorage Digital has introduced native TRX staking and custody for TRC-20 assets, while the Tokenized Hamilton Lane SCOPE Fund has become the first Securitize-issued asset on the network.

The TRON protocol is now included in the S&P Pantera Digital Asset Index, which evaluates networks based on utility, liquidity, and activity. The blockchain, founded in September 2017 with its MainNet launch in May 2018, continues to position itself as a primary settlement layer for stablecoin transfers and digital asset payments.
