TRON DAO representatives are marking the launch of the Canary Staked TRX ETF, traded under the ticker TRXS, by ringing the closing bell at Cboe Global Markets in Chicago on September 29, 2026. The financial product, which debuted on the exchange on September 9, provides institutional investors with exposure to the spot price of the TRX token.
The fund is designed to generate additional TRX through the delegated proof-of-stake validation process of the TRON network. These net staking rewards are incorporated into the net asset value of the fund. Canary Capital serves as the provider for this exchange-traded product, facilitating institutional access to the network through brokerages.
The TRON network currently supports over $94 billion in circulating Tether stablecoins. Year-to-date, the blockchain has processed approximately $6.1 trillion in USDT transfer volume. As of September 2026, the network reports more than 405 million user accounts and over 15 billion total transactions.
According to data from TRONSCAN, the total value locked within the TRON ecosystem has reached over $28 billion. The network, which launched its MainNet in May 2018, continues to position itself as infrastructure for decentralized finance and global payments.
