TRATON Group, the commercial vehicle division of Volkswagen, has transitioned to the Ripple Treasury platform to manage its financial forecasting. The company is replacing approximately 20 manual Excel templates with a centralized system to automate data collection and establish a unified audit trail.

The agreement was finalized in August 2026. This implementation marks a significant milestone for Ripple Treasury, which was acquired by Ripple in late 2025 for $1 billion. TRATON, which includes brands like Scania, MAN, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, reported revenue of €44,05 billion for 2025.

The platform utilizes GSmart, an AI-driven analytics tool. Data from September 2026 indicates that 60% of eligible customers use the feature for risk insights, while 44% use it for forecast insights. The system currently supports over 1,000 businesses across more than 40 countries.

Ripple Treasury processes more than $100 billion in daily transactions. While the platform supports digital assets, the current deployment at TRATON focuses exclusively on standardizing forecasting and process automation rather than crypto integration.
