On October 7, 2026, a crypto trader known as @frogmanhaha reported the theft of digital assets worth approximately $4 million. The breach occurred while the trader was attending the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore.
The attacker compromised two wallets and moved the stolen funds through privacy-focused services, specifically Privacy Cash and Chainflip, to obscure the transaction trail. On-chain analyst EmberCN identified suspicious activity five hours before the trader confirmed the incident.
The stolen portfolio included nine different tokens. The largest loss involved 1.43 million BP tokens valued at approximately $1.77 million. Additionally, about 3.7 million Cash Cat tokens were stolen, with an estimated value between $510,000 and $515,000.
The attacker converted the majority of the stolen assets into Ethereum, Binance Coin, and Solana. The trader stated that the exact method of the breach remains unknown, and investigations are currently ongoing.
