Toyota has updated the Corolla Cross for the 2027 model year in the US market, focusing on revised trim levels and pricing adjustments. The gasoline version retains its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 169 hp, paired with a CVT featuring a mechanical first gear. Customers can choose between front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations.
The hybrid variant now exclusively offers SE and XSE trims, as the entry-level S option has been discontinued. The hybrid powertrain delivers 196 hp and comes standard with all-wheel drive, achieving a fuel consumption rate of 5.6 liters per 100 km in the combined cycle. All models now include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features.
Interior technology remains largely consistent, with an 8-inch screen in base models and an optional 10.5-inch display for LE and Hybrid SE trims. Higher-end XLE and Hybrid XSE versions include the 10.5-inch display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite is standard across the entire lineup.
Pricing for the 2027 gasoline-powered Toyota Corolla Cross starts at $25 535 for the front-wheel-drive L trim. The most affordable hybrid model is now priced at $31 415. These updates reflect Toyota's strategy to streamline the trim offerings while maintaining the core mechanical specifications of the compact crossover.
