The 2026 World’s Best Companies list by TIME magazine features Nvidia in the top spot with a score of 97.51. Cigna follows in second place with 94.37 points, while Apple returns to the top three with a score of 93.16.

The ranking methodology evaluates companies based on three equally weighted criteria: employee satisfaction, revenue growth over the past three years, and sustainability transparency. Each category contributes to a maximum total score of 100.

Apple secured third place in employee satisfaction, trailing behind Microsoft and IBM. Regarding sustainability transparency, the company ranked 24th, a decline from its first-place position in 2024. However, TIME rated Apple's revenue growth as Very High.

Apple previously topped the list in 2024 but was absent from the 2025 rankings. Analysts attributed the 2025 exclusion to revenue declines between 2022 and 2024. Recent financial reports show a 10% year-over-year revenue increase as of July 2025.
