Apple executive chairman Tim Cook visited the iQIYI headquarters on October 14, where he was hosted by CEO Gong Yu. During the visit, Cook previewed a new viewing experience developed by the iQIYI team specifically for the iPhone Duo foldable smartphone.
The demonstration highlighted the application's adaptation to the foldable form factor. The iQIYI app features a split-screen mode that utilizes the device's hinge mechanism. When the screen is partially folded, the top half displays video content, while the bottom half functions as a dedicated control interface.
This control panel allows users to manage playback, adjust volume and brightness, toggle subtitles, and take screenshots. Cook praised the optimization of the application and expressed anticipation for users to experience the new interface firsthand.
