Thermal Grizzly has released the WireView Pro II Noctua Edition, a GPU monitoring device designed to detect potential issues with 12V-2x6 power connectors. The device monitors current on each conductor independently to identify unusual distribution or contact problems that could lead to hardware damage.
The new version features a customized cooling system developed in collaboration with Noctua. It includes a Noctua NF-A4x10 fan, an optimized grille, and an enlarged aluminum housing. The device operates in a semi-passive mode, remaining inactive until cooling is strictly necessary.
Under a 300W GPU load, the device can function passively without fan activation if temperatures remain below 40°C. When active, the fan operates at under 2,000 RPM, reducing noise levels from 39.4dB(A) to 21.5dB(A) at a 10cm distance.
The product is available in Normal and Reversed variants to support various cable configurations. It includes a two-year warranty for the GPU connector. The device is currently listed on the official Thermal Grizzly store for $222.18, despite a suggested retail price of $189.90.
