Thermal Grizzly and Noctua have unveiled the WireView Pro II Noctua Edition, a specialized monitoring device for 12V-2x6 power connectors. The collaboration introduces hardware enhancements aimed at improving thermal management and acoustic performance compared to the standard model.
The device features an integrated aluminum heatsink paired with a larger Noctua NF-A4x10n fan and a custom-designed fan grille. These modifications increase airflow efficiency, allowing the fan to remain inactive during most operational scenarios.
Testing indicates that the fan activation threshold for the new edition is twice as high as that of the original version. Under various power loads, the device maintains temperatures that are on average 3 degrees Celsius lower than the standard unit.
When the fan is active, specifically within a GPU power range of 400 to 480W, noise levels are measured at 21.5 dB(A) at a distance of 10 cm and 1.5 dB(A) at a distance of 1 meter. The product is priced at $189.90.
