Thermal Grizzly and Noctua have collaborated to release the WireView Pro II Noctua Edition, a power monitoring device for graphics cards. The new version integrates a Noctua NF-A4x10 fan, a custom milled aluminum housing, and an optimized grille to reduce operational noise.
The device monitors current independently across each 12V line to detect potential issues with the 12V-2x6 connector. It features visual and audible alerts for threshold violations and includes an automatic shutdown function to prevent hardware damage.
The cooling system operates in a semi-passive mode. It supports loads up to 300W without active cooling at temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius. When active, the fan speed is capped at under 2000 rpm, reducing noise levels from 39.4 dBA to 21.5 dBA at a 10 cm distance.
The product is available in standard and reverse configurations to accommodate different cable routing needs. Thermal Grizzly offers a two-year warranty on the connector. The device is priced at $189.90, or $222.18 including taxes.
