Theo, a platform for tokenizing real-world assets, has introduced a new silver-backed product. The offering is supported by $40 million in active leases, applying the same yield-generating model previously used for the company's gold and Treasury tokens.

The platform's existing Treasury product, thBILL, has surpassed $200 million in total value locked, with cumulative trading volume reaching approximately $1 billion. In January 2026, the company launched thGOLD, which provides a return of around 2% through loans secured by physical gold inventories.

In March 2026, Theo introduced thUSD, a stablecoin-like product aiming for yields between 5% and 12% via a delta-neutral gold carry strategy. According to RWA.xyz, the platform's distributed asset value is approximately $59 million, with a stablecoin market capitalization of about $135 million.

Theo collaborates with institutional partners including Wellington Management, Standard Chartered through its Libeara arm, and FundBridge Capital. While the $40 million lease book is significant for the tokenized silver market, the company notes that silver presents different volatility and market dynamics compared to gold.
