Tevian and RSS are expanding their technological collaboration by integrating Tevian computer vision algorithms into the RSS Ommatid platform. This project will equip the platform with facial and license plate recognition tools, allowing operators to access analytics directly within the Ommatid interface.
The partnership also focuses on integrating Polycamera multisensor cameras. The companies are currently testing joint data processing and configuring the platform to work with the Tevian SDK. This ensures that when a person appears in multiple video streams, the system avoids creating duplicate events.
Looking ahead, the partners plan to implement silhouette-based analytics. The joint solution is designed for large-scale projects requiring the processing of video streams across extensive areas, including public spaces, sports facilities, and urban or transport infrastructure.
