Tesla has launched an interest form for potential partners to join its Robotaxi network. The company is seeking fleet buyers for vehicle purchases, infrastructure providers for mobility hubs, and event collaborators. Applicants must provide contact details and specify their target deployment regions.

The new initiative focuses on fleet operations rather than private vehicle owners. While Tesla previously marketed its Full Self-Driving software to consumers with the promise of passive income, private owners have not yet been granted the ability to monetize their vehicles through autonomous taxi services.

The company previously sold FSD capabilities to customers for up to $15 000. Despite these sales, Tesla has not delivered the promised fully autonomous software. The current strategy appears to prioritize fleet-scale deployment over the individual ownership model originally promoted to early buyers.

Tesla has previously attempted to develop its own charging infrastructure, such as a planned hub in San Francisco, but later abandoned those projects. The company now seems to be shifting toward external partnerships to build out the necessary ecosystem for its autonomous vehicle fleet.
