Tesla has unveiled new promotional images of the next-generation Roadster. The sports car features a white exterior, gull-wing doors, and a large rear wing. The vehicle's design incorporates hidden headlights, a full-width rear light bar, and flush-mounted components. The interior is finished in white with grey microsuede accents.
The car utilizes advanced materials including magnesium, titanium, and carbon fiber to reduce overall weight. Its specialized Ano White coating is designed to withstand ultraviolet radiation, cryogenic temperatures, corrosion, and static buildup. The glass features a gold tint, inspired by aerospace helmet visors.
The Roadster is equipped with active aerodynamics and a fan-based system to generate downforce. It also integrates SpaceX gas thrusters, which the company claims will allow the vehicle to briefly lift off the ground and operate while inverted. The car is designed to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in 0.81 seconds.
