Tesla has introduced hardware updates for the Model 3 in China, replacing the 15.4-inch display with a 16-inch touchscreen. The new screen features higher resolution and a faster refresh rate. Additionally, the company added a light gray interior option paired with a black fabric headliner for Chinese customers.

The entire Model 3 and Model Y lineup in China now supports vehicle-to-load functionality, allowing for up to 2.2 kW of AC power export. Users generally require a specific adapter to utilize this feature, with the exception of the three-row Model Y L model.

Tesla is offering financial incentives in China for Model 3 orders placed by October 31, including a ¥5,000 discount on the final payment. Buyers can also access 5-year 0% financing, an ¥8,000 insurance subsidy for specific trims, and an ¥8,000 credit for paint options.

The base price for the Model 3 in China remains at ¥235,500, though promotional discounts bring the advertised starting price to ¥222,500. These updates and incentives are currently exclusive to the Chinese market and are not available for the US Model 3 lineup.
