Stockholm-based Terasi, a spinout from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, secured €11 million in a seed funding round. The investment was co-led by the NATO Innovation Fund and the European early-stage fund Join Capital. Other participants included new investors In-Q-Tel and D3, alongside returning backers Navigare Ventures, Almi Invest, Onsight Ventures, Further Than Capital, and KTH Ventures.

The startup specializes in communication components capable of high-frequency data transmission. Its technology enables secure, gigabit-speed wireless links without the need for fiber optics or cellular towers. These systems are designed to function in contested environments, making them suitable for military, satellite, and telecommunications applications.

Terasi plans to allocate the capital toward scaling its technology for European armed forces and expanding its internal team. Additionally, the company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of new product lines. The firm claims to be the only European manufacturer providing such flexible, high-speed wireless systems for sensitive operational environments.
