Tecno has unveiled a special edition of the Pova 8 Pro 5G smartphone, developed in collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini. The device features a black and red color scheme, incorporating design elements inspired by the automotive brand, such as the Signature Shield pattern and details reminiscent of exhaust systems, ventilation grilles, and body lines.
The smartphone's rear panel utilizes a multi-layered construction. One layer is treated to enhance brightness and reflection, while another incorporates internal mirror structures that reveal hidden red elements depending on the viewing angle. The development of this specific coating technology took several months to complete.
The collaboration extends to the software interface, which includes custom wallpapers, icons, and ringtones developed over a four-month period. The Alive Matrix Display features a stylized Tonino Lamborghini letter L during startup, unlocking, and other system interactions.
The retail package includes a braided cable, a specialized charger, and a protective case made from TPU and PC materials. The case design incorporates textures that mimic carbon fiber and Kevlar, completing the thematic aesthetic of the special edition smartphone.
