Technonicol is finalizing a digital twin of its finished goods warehouse at the Zavod Techno facility in Ryazan, with a full launch scheduled for October 2026. The company expects the investment to pay off in under three years. The system simulates warehouse operations using data from logistics software, including layout, vehicle routes, and historical performance metrics.

The digital model is projected to reduce decision-making errors by 75%, cut operational costs by 15%, and lower payroll expenses by 20%. Additionally, warehouse throughput is expected to increase by 25%, while operation processing time should decrease by 35%. The system allows managers to test various scenarios and analyze performance indicators before implementing changes in reality.

The Ryazan plant was chosen for the pilot due to its high turnover and complex logistics, as it handles stone wool, agricultural substrates, and various construction materials. Data from the model is integrated into the QlikView business intelligence platform to track KPIs such as forklift mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle turnaround times.

Technonicol plans to scale this technology across its network. In 2026, the digital twin will be implemented at facilities in the Novgorod and Rostov regions, as well as in Chelyabinsk. By 2027, the rollout will expand to sites in Belgorod, the Kemerovo region, Tatarstan, Khabarovsk, and Obninsk. A similar project has already been completed in Serpukhov.
