Team Group has secured two new invention patents in Taiwan for its portable solid-state drives. These intellectual property rights cover magnetic attachment technology and device-tracking capabilities, reinforcing the company's research and development portfolio.
The PD20M Mag Portable SSD features a magnetic design compatible with MagSafe. The device has a thickness of 8.2 mm and weighs 40 g. It allows users to record Apple ProRes video directly when connected to iPhone 15 Pro series or later models.
The magnetic attachment technology for the PD20M model has previously received an invention patent in the United States and a utility model patent in Japan. These patents aim to improve the convenience of portable storage solutions.
