The TCL P80 Ultra smartphone features a specialized Nxtpaper OLED display designed to minimize flicker and blue light emissions. The screen maintains visibility under direct sunlight and offers wide viewing angles with reduced glare. A physical switch on the side of the device allows users to instantly activate a reading mode that mimics paper documents.
The device includes a Max Ink monochrome mode that removes visual distractions and lowers power consumption. According to TCL, the 5800 mAh battery provides up to seven days of standard operation and up to 26 days in standby mode. The phone supports 45 W charging and is powered by the Dimensity 7400 Elite processor.
Hardware specifications include 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. The camera system consists of 50 MP, 8 MP, and 50 MP sensors, with the latter supporting three-fold optical zoom. While the display is the primary focus, initial reports indicate average processor performance and standard image quality.
