Mobile operator T2 has updated its self-registration process for SIM cards within its mobile application. Customers no longer need to install the GosKlyuch service to sign their service agreements.
The new procedure allows users to issue an electronic signature and complete the contract signing process directly through the Gosuslugi portal. Users are redirected to the portal for identification and signing before returning to the T2 app to finish the setup.
T2 claims to be the first Russian mobile operator to implement this specific self-registration workflow. The company aims to simplify digital processes by reducing the number of steps and external applications required for customer onboarding.
Ivan Rybintsev, Director of Development and Digitalization at T2, stated that the company will continue to optimize digital scenarios to eliminate unnecessary user actions.
