T2, a Russian mobile operator, has introduced its first payment product, the T2 Card. This virtual Mir payment system card allows users to pay for mobile services, make daily purchases, and transfer funds. The product is currently available to residents in 11 regions, with plans for a nationwide rollout in the near future.

The card offers a loyalty program with cashback in bonus rubles at a rate of up to 13% per annum, which can be converted into standard currency. Users can pay for mobile services with a 30% discount and perform transfers via the Faster Payments System. Fintech company Paygine serves as the technical partner for this project.

Eligibility is restricted to T2 subscribers who are Russian residents aged 18 and older, with a limit of one card per person. Spending and storage limits depend on the level of user identification. Verified users via the Gosuslugi portal can access a monthly limit of up to 600,000 ₽.

For users providing passport data, the card offers a storage limit of 100,000 ₽ and a monthly transaction limit of 200,000 ₽. The service is currently active in regions including the Arkhangelsk, Vladimir, Volgograd, Vologda, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Tula, and Tyumen regions, as well as Buryatia, Primorsky Krai, and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
