The Suunto Race 3S features a 45 mm case with a thickness of 11.4 mm and a weight of 53 g. The device retains two physical buttons and a digital crown on the right side. It supports GPS, mapping applications, and is water-resistant up to 5 ATM.
The display is a 1.32-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 466x466 pixels. Its peak brightness reaches 2000 nits, which is three times higher than the 600 nits of the previous Race S model. The screen is now protected by sapphire glass instead of Gorilla Glass.
Internal storage has been doubled from 32 GB to 64 GB, allowing for more offline maps and local music. Battery life during GPS usage has improved to 45 hours, compared to 30 hours in the previous generation.
