Supermicro has officially commenced shipments of the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 rack systems. The company is offering these units as part of its Data Center Building Block Solutions (DCBBS), which include liquid-cooled computing racks, 1.8MW in-row cooling distribution units, and optional rear-door heat exchangers.
The company provides comprehensive integration services, including network configuration and cabling based on NVIDIA reference architectures. These solutions are designed to support power requirements ranging from 5MW to the gigawatt level, catering to large-scale data center deployments.
The scalable unit blueprint for the Vera Rubin NVL72 architecture supports clusters of 16 computing racks. This configuration delivers a total of 1,152 Rubin GPUs and 331TB of HBM4 memory, alongside the necessary infrastructure for power supply, thermal management, storage, and networking.
