Strive, Inc. has reached a market capitalization of $2.5 billion to $3 billion, surpassing Metaplanet, which is valued between $2 billion and $2.5 billion. This occurs despite Metaplanet holding approximately 43,000 BTC, nearly double the 24,531 BTC held by Strive.
Strive became a public company in September 2025 through a reverse merger with Asset Entities. It is currently the fifth-largest public corporate holder of Bitcoin. In the week ending September 4, 2026, the company bought 1,375 BTC for approximately $109 million at an average price of $79,281 per coin.
The company's total Bitcoin holdings are valued between $1.9 billion and $1.96 billion. To fund these acquisitions, Strive uses SATA perpetual preferred stock, which pays daily dividends at an annualized rate of 13%. There is nearly $1 billion in SATA preferred stock outstanding.
Metaplanet holds roughly 43,000 BTC, valued at approximately $3.4 billion, having added 2,823 BTC in the second quarter of 2026. CEO Matt Cole aims for Strive to become the second-largest public Bitcoin holder by the end of the year, which would require nearly doubling its current position.
