Strive, a company listed on the Nasdaq, has increased its bitcoin holdings to 25,000 BTC. The latest acquisition included 469 bitcoins purchased at an average price of approximately $77,954 per coin. The total value of the company's bitcoin reserves is now nearly $2 billion.
CEO Matt Cole stated that the capital for this purchase was generated entirely through the sale of SATA, the firm's perpetual preferred stock. Following the announcement, Strive's stock price, traded under the ticker ASST, rose by more than 6%.
The company maintains a debt-free balance sheet, avoiding bonds, credit lines, and leveraged positions. This approach distinguishes Strive from other major bitcoin treasuries that utilize debt to finance their acquisitions. Strive currently ranks as the fifth largest publicly traded company by bitcoin holdings.
Founded by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Strive officially transitioned into a bitcoin treasury model last year. In January 2026, the firm completed the acquisition of Semler Scientific in an all-stock transaction, marking the first time a publicly traded bitcoin treasury acquired another similar entity.
