On October 7, 2026, the financial application Strike, founded by Jack Mallers, introduced a feature called Stacks. It allows users to categorize their Bitcoin holdings into a maximum of five named buckets within a single account. This system enables goal-based saving, where users can assign specific purposes to different stacks, such as long-term reserves or down payments.

Transfers between stacks and the main account balance are free and unlimited. However, to withdraw Bitcoin to an external wallet, funds must first be moved back to the main balance. Each stack can support an independent, no-fee recurring purchase plan, allowing users to set different schedules and dollar-cost averaging strategies for each individual bucket.

The feature is available for both personal and business accounts across all jurisdictions where Strike operates. Stacks functions within the company's custodial setup, with assets held in multi-signature cold storage. The company notes that cash balances remain separate from Bitcoin stacks and are not affected by this feature.

Alongside Stacks, Strike launched a product called Bitcoin Interest on Cash. This service offers a 3.6% yield on USD balances, with the earned interest automatically converted into Bitcoin. Both new offerings operate entirely within the Strike ecosystem without the use of third-party protocols or tokens.
