Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, recently shared a chart on social media captioned 'Even more orange.' The company, which is the largest public holder of Bitcoin, historically discloses its asset acquisitions in regulatory filings typically submitted on Mondays.
Previous activity includes a purchase of 950 BTC at an average price of $79 670 per coin, totaling $76 million. This transaction brought the company's total holdings to 846 000 BTC. However, not all social media signals from Saylor have resulted in immediate acquisitions.
The company's ledger shows four sales between June 30 and August 10, amounting to 6 916 BTC. Additionally, Strategy recently spent $174 million on a buyback of STRC preferred shares. Currently, Bitcoin is trading near $84 974, which is approximately 13% above the company's average cost of $75 416 per coin.
