StraitsX CEO Tianwei Liu reported that the company now processes over $500 million in monthly transactions via its stablecoin-backed Visa debit cards. Data indicates that approximately 85% of these transactions are under $50, reflecting a shift toward routine household spending rather than speculative trading.

The company experienced significant growth between Q4 2024 and Q4 2025, with card transaction volume increasing 40-fold and the number of issued cards rising 83 times. Partner firm RedotPay processed over $2.95 billion in card volume through StraitsX infrastructure during 2025.

StraitsX has handled nearly $30 billion in cumulative stablecoin transactions. The company maintains a licensed status as a Major Payment Institution under the Monetary Authority of Singapore and issues its own stablecoins, XSGD and XUSD.

In October 2026, StraitsX entered a partnership with Visa to expand stablecoin card issuance to more than 100 global markets. The company currently reports an annualized card gross transaction value of over $6 billion in Asia, acting as a Visa BIN sponsor to facilitate card launches for third-party fintech and crypto platforms.
