StormWall has launched StormWall Appliance, a software solution for on-premises DDoS protection. The system processes traffic within the client's network perimeter, ensuring data remains local and independent of external cloud infrastructure.
The product filters attacks at the L3–L5 OSI layers, including volumetric floods, TCP-stack attacks, and threats targeting DNS services or gaming protocols. It handles encrypted TLS and QUIC traffic without decryption, utilizing DPDK-based packet processing and proprietary filtering algorithms.
Clients can deploy the appliance independently or integrate it with StormWall cloud services for additional L7 protection. Licensing is available for a fixed term or a limited period, with pricing based on port capacity and the number of installations.
Deployment takes at least one day, followed by a free trial period of up to 30 days. For isolated networks, the company offers an offline licensing option using a hardware key. Technical support is provided through three tiers, including a premium 24/7 service.
