Stilla was founded in 2024 by Siavash Ghorbani and Kaj Drobin, former executives at Shopify. The company emerged from stealth mode in January 2026 and is based in Stockholm.

The startup is developing a multiplayer AI agent designed for workplace communication. Unlike traditional single-player AI assistants, this system understands the broader context of group work and maintains a shared understanding across various platforms.

The platform integrates with over 3,000 tools, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and project management software. By May 2026, the company expanded its capabilities to include deep compatibility with SharePoint and Teams within the Microsoft ecosystem.

The AI agent automates routine tasks such as creating tickets and drafting meeting notes. It operates across different tools to prevent context loss without requiring teams to change their existing workflows.

The pre-seed funding round of $5 million was led by General Catalyst. The startup has already attracted enterprise clients, including Ramp and Spotify.
