The Ram 1500 extended-range EV pickup, previously known as the Ramcharger, has been pushed back. According to Automotive News, the vehicle is now expected to arrive around April 2027.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer EREV will also face a delay. Production was originally scheduled for earlier this year, but it has been pushed back by six months and will not start until November 2027.
The Grand Wagoneer EREV features a 92 kWh battery pack and a 3.6-liter V6 engine that powers a 130 kW generator. Stellantis claims this configuration provides a combined range of 500 miles.
The vehicle is estimated to have 647 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in five seconds. Jeep describes the model as a new benchmark in flagship performance.
