Stellantis, through its circular economy division SUSTAINera, is expanding its remanufactured parts program to include high-voltage batteries, electric compressors, and electrified dual-clutch transmissions. These components are designed for both pure electric and hybrid vehicles.
The company ensures that all remanufactured parts meet original equipment manufacturer specifications. According to Stellantis, these components offer performance levels and warranty conditions identical to new MOPAR parts.
Stellantis claims that using remanufactured parts reduces raw material consumption by up to 80 percent and lowers carbon dioxide emissions by up to 40 percent compared to new components. The company previously deployed refurbished batteries for stationary energy storage, notably at Rome Airport.
The automaker will showcase these solutions at the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt, scheduled for September 8–12. The company will host workshops at booth F84-E84 in hall 9.0 to demonstrate the value of its circular economy model to dealers and consumers.
