Spy photos of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance Stelato V8 test vehicle have surfaced online. The prototype features a noticeably thicker roof section compared to the standard model, suggesting the potential integration of a native roof tent system.
Public records from the China National Intellectual Property Administration show that Huawei filed a patent in April for a roof control method and related devices. The patent documentation includes diagrams of a vehicle roof tent deployment mechanism, with the illustrated car resembling an MPV.
The Stelato V8 MPV has already undergone wind tunnel testing, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.226. The test results were officially shared by the company on September 4.
Richard Yu, Chairman of Huawei's Terminal BG, confirmed that the official debut of the Stelato V8 is scheduled for this month.
