SteelSeries has introduced two limited-edition versions of its Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 magnetic switch keyboard, dubbed Cyber and Steel. Both models are priced at $239.99 and feature a distinct top plate design along with translucent keycaps intended to enhance RGB lighting effects.
The keyboard utilizes an 80 percent TKL layout and includes features such as Rapid Trigger, Rapid Tap, and Protection Mode. It also offers per-key RGB backlighting and rubber feet with three adjustable height settings.
The technical specifications for the magnetic switches vary between the new editions. The Cyber model is equipped with 35gF speed-oriented magnetic switches, while the Steel version features 50gF control-oriented switches. For comparison, the original Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 model comes with 45gF switches.
