StarkWare has launched OffMarket, a platform designed to enable private trading on Polymarket. The service allows users to participate in prediction markets without linking their positions to a public account, effectively masking on-chain activity.
The platform operates on a privacy layer built on Starknet, utilizing zero-knowledge proofs to obscure balances and trading data on the Polygon network. OffMarket manages derived wallets for users, separating individual trades from their primary on-chain identity.
OffMarket integrates directly with Polymarket’s existing liquidity, order books, and odds, avoiding the need for a separate, smaller market. Users deposit USDC on Polygon to begin trading without creating a traditional Polymarket account.
The project development followed a phased rollout throughout 2026, beginning with a private alpha in July, invite-only access in August, and mainnet trading in September. The public launch occurred on October 14, 2026.
While holding the status of an Official Polymarket Builder, OffMarket functions as an independent entity. StarkWare positions the tool as a practical demonstration of Starknet’s privacy capabilities for the DeFi ecosystem.
