The Standard Reserve (TSR) protocol has announced plans to become the primary liquidity engine for Robinhood Chain. The initiative involves deploying $14 million in reserves to seed and deepen trading pools for tokenized equities, aiming to reduce slippage for assets such as NVIDIA, Apple, and the SPDR S&P 500 ETF.
Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 network launched on July 1, 2026, has recorded cumulative trading volumes exceeding $1 billion in its first two months. As of late September 2026, the network's total value locked is estimated between $900 million and $1 billion.
Currently, Uniswap dominates the ecosystem, accounting for approximately 99% of the liquidity for tokenized stocks on the chain, with 73% in V4 and 26% in V3. TSR intends to funnel its capital into this existing infrastructure while attracting institutional participants and recycling trading fees.
The tokenized stocks are issued as ERC-20 debt securities from Jersey. These instruments track equity prices but do not grant voting rights or direct ownership. Furthermore, US persons are currently restricted from purchasing these tokens, limiting the reach of the platform.
