Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of the Arbitrum network, highlighting its role as a layer 2 infrastructure provider for traditional finance. The bank notes that Arbitrum helps financial firms transition on-chain and supports the launch of custom layer 2 networks.

The bank cites the launch of Robinhood Chain in early July 2026 as a key growth driver. Arbitrum collects 10% of the net protocol revenue from this service. Consequently, the bank estimates Arbitrum’s total monthly revenue could reach $5 million in September, a fivefold increase from its pre-launch levels.

Standard Chartered projects that the market for tokenized assets will grow to $4 trillion by the end of 2028. This expansion is expected to boost Arbitrum's revenue and align its market-cap-to-fees multiple with layer 1 network standards.

The bank set annual price targets for the ARB token: $0.50 for 2026, $1.50 for 2027, $3.50 for 2028, $6.50 for 2029, and $10 for 2030. The 2030 target represents a 70-fold increase from the reported price of approximately $0.14.
