Weekly spending via stablecoin-linked cards reached $189 million during the week of September 14, 2026. This metric has shown consistent growth throughout the year, with weekly volumes exceeding $200 million on multiple occasions. Specifically, the week of August 14-20 saw $281.7 million in transactions, followed by $288 million the next week.

Monthly transaction volumes surpassed the $1 billion threshold in both July and August, reaching approximately $1.04 billion and $1.116 billion respectively. USDC and USDT dominated the market, accounting for roughly 84% of total volume in July. USDC held a 58% share, while USDT accounted for 26%.

Visa processes the majority of these transactions through a global network of more than 130 linked card programs. Monthly activity involves approximately 9 to 10 million individual transactions. Improved on-chain settlement across networks like Arbitrum, Solana, and Base has helped reduce costs and friction for users converting stablecoins for daily purchases.

Three issuers currently dominate the market, collectively responsible for about 77% of tracked card activity in July. RedotPay led with $395 million in volume, followed by EtherFi with $100 million and KAST with $90 million. These providers target diverse regions, including Asia, emerging markets, Latin America, and Europe.
