According to the CFM Flash Market report, SSD prices in the domestic channel market saw a significant decline during the week of October 26 to November 1. Multiple mainstream capacity models experienced price drops exceeding 10% within a single week.
The 120GB SATA SSD is now priced at $15, reflecting an 11.76% decrease. The 240GB SATA SSD fell by 11.11% to $32, while the 256GB PCIe 3.0 SSD saw the largest decline in the current cycle, dropping 13.16% to $33.
High-capacity storage products also recorded price adjustments. The 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD dropped 7.14% to $65, the 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD decreased by 7.69% to $120, and the 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD fell 4.00% to $240.
Analysts note that while these price reductions ease assembly costs for consumers, they represent a correction from previously high levels. Future price trends will depend on manufacturer inventory clearing strategies and upstream flash memory market dynamics.
