Square has launched a new integration with Apple Business, allowing merchants to manage their brand presence directly from the Square Dashboard. This feature is available to sellers of all sizes across the eight regions supported by Square.
Users can now update business details, including addresses, phone numbers, and operating hours, which will automatically sync across Apple apps and services. Additionally, merchants can add logos and action links for services like ordering, pickup, and appointment booking to their Apple Maps place cards.
For verified business sellers in the United States and Canada who lack an existing Apple Business account, enrollment is now possible through the Square Dashboard. The company intends to introduce further tools, such as engagement metrics and peer benchmarks, in future updates.
This development follows Square's recent expansion into AI-driven commerce. Earlier in July, the company integrated ChatGPT and Claude to assist merchants in customer discovery and transactions. Furthermore, Square has partnered with Amazon to enable voice commerce capabilities via Alexa+.
