Splat Global has unveiled a mobile diagnostic kit designed for at-home oral health assessment. The system utilizes a specialized test strip and a smartphone to evaluate dental conditions in approximately three minutes.
The SplatForma application processes the data to analyze five key metrics, including inflammation levels, hygiene quality, and caries risk. It provides personalized recommendations and suggests professional dental consultations when necessary.
The underlying image processing technology is based on proprietary mathematical models developed over five years. Splat Global reported that total investment in the project exceeded 320 ₽ million.
The application also features tools for identifying tooth enamel shades using the Vita Bleach Guide scale and scanning oral care product ingredients. The diagnostic solution has received approval from three Russian dental associations.
The app is available for iOS and Android at no cost. The company plans to distribute the test kits through online marketplaces, followed by retail stores and dental clinics, with a launch scheduled for early October.
