Paris-based fintech Spiko has secured $90 million in a Series B funding round led by New Enterprise Associates. Existing investors Index Ventures and White Star Capital participated in the round, alongside new backers including former Bundesbank president Axel Weber. The company has raised a total of approximately $120 million since its inception in 2023.
The startup specializes in tokenized money market funds that hold Eurozone and US Treasury bills. As of late September 2026, the company managed between $2.6 billion and $2.7 billion in assets. This growth includes reaching the $1 billion milestone in February 2026 and doubling it by July 2026, positioning Spiko as a leading issuer in the European market.
Spiko operates under the supervision of the French financial markets regulator, the AMF, and adheres to UCITS standards. Its platform supports multiple blockchains, including Stellar and Ethereum. A recent partnership with Fipto allows investors to transfer funds directly from stablecoins like EURC and USDC into Spiko products via platforms such as Coinhouse.
The company intends to use the new capital to expand its operations across Europe and the United States. Spiko aims to provide treasury management tools for businesses and SMEs, focusing on daily interest accrual and liquidity. The firm is positioning itself to compete directly with major financial institutions like BlackRock in the tokenized cash fund sector.
