Spectra Finance has introduced fixed-term markets for the deJTRSY token on the Stellar network. This token represents a version of the Janus Henderson treasury fund, which is issued via the Centrifuge protocol.
The protocol functions by splitting yield-bearing assets into two parts: Principal Tokens (PT) and Yield Tokens (YT). PTs act like zero-coupon bonds, while YTs allow holders to speculate on variable yield movements.
Unlike automated market makers, the platform utilizes an order book for trading. This design choice aims to support price discovery in environments where liquidity may be limited.
The launch marks a shift for Spectra Finance, which rebranded from APWine in 2022 and previously focused on EVM chains. The company built new cross-chain infrastructure to support the non-EVM Stellar network.
Security firm Certora completed an audit of the cross-chain components on May 18, 2026. Initial liquidity for the markets was provided by GamiLabs to ensure functionality at launch.
