On September 14, the Spark Finance spUSDC V2 vault recorded an inflow of over $56.5 million in less than 40 minutes. Users depositing USDC receive transferable spUSDC tokens, which currently offer a net annual percentage yield of approximately 3.55%.
The protocol, which operates within the Sky ecosystem formerly known as MakerDAO, deploys assets through the Spark Liquidity Layer. This layer is backed by the USDS stablecoin and utilizes various yield-generating strategies to diversify income sources.
Since its launch in late October 2025, the vault has seen significant activity, including an initial day-one inflow of over $120 million. Consequently, the protocol increased deposit caps for spUSDC and spUSDT vaults from $50 million to $250 million.
Currently, the spUSDC vault manages approximately $316 million in assets. Across all Spark Savings V2 vaults, the total value locked fluctuates between $700 million and $1.4 billion, while the broader Spark protocol manages several billion dollars in total value.
