SpaceXAI reported that its Grok Bot reached 418 000 weekly users by September 14, marking a 24% increase compared to the previous week. The company introduced the tool in mid-August to compete with OpenAI and Anthropic in the AI agent market.
Unlike standard chatbots, Grok Bot is built to manage enterprise workflows, including email management, database updates, invoice processing, and bug tracking. The product is available through various subscription tiers and as a standalone application.
The company's strategy contrasts with Meta's Muse, which focuses on consumer users. Bloomberg Intelligence data suggests that Muse has seen four times as many downloads as Grok Bot. SpaceXAI continues to expand its AI portfolio beyond the bot.
Recent releases include Grok 4.5, launched in July for coding and legal tasks, and Grok 4.7, introduced earlier this month for complex, long-term operations. These developments follow the acquisition of Cursor and its integration with xAI.
