SpaceX has successfully launched the Falcon 9 rocket as part of the CRS-35 mission to the International Space Station. The launch event was captured on video by user DimaZeniuk, showing a distinct visual effect in the night sky.

The phenomenon, often described as a space jellyfish, occurred due to the interaction between the rocket exhaust, high-altitude atmospheric conditions, and sunlight. The exhaust gases expanded into a wide cloud, which became illuminated by the sun while the ground remained in darkness.

The CRS-35 mission marks the 35th commercial resupply flight for SpaceX. The mission utilized a Falcon 9 rocket on its 8th flight, while the Crew Dragon capsule completed its 4th mission in total.
