The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft successfully completed the Crew-12 mission, returning four crew members from the International Space Station to Earth. The capsule splashed down in the Pacific Ocean near Los Angeles, California, at 11:34 a.m. Eastern Time.

The returning crew included NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA representative Sophie Adenot, and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. The team spent 235 days in orbit, covering 160 million kilometers while conducting scientific research and performing four spacewalks.

For Hathaway and Adenot, this mission marked their first spaceflight, while Fedyaev completed his second. Jessica Meir reached a cumulative total of 440 days in space, placing her among the top ten NASA astronauts by total flight time.

Meanwhile, the Crew-13 mission has already arrived at the ISS, docking on October 2. The transit took 7 hours and 50 minutes, setting a record for the fastest delivery of a crew to the station by an American spacecraft.

The Crew-13 team is scheduled to remain on the ISS for approximately 180 days. Their return to Earth is tentatively planned for March 2027, with a scheduled splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
