Sony has reintroduced the WH-1000XM4C headphones, a revised version of the 2020 WH-1000XM4 model. The new version retains the same hinge design and folding capability, utilizing the QN1 processor and four microphones for active noise cancellation.

The company updated the sound profile to align with current models, introducing a 10-band equalizer in the app instead of the 5-band one from the XM4. The headphones now support Bluetooth 6, while battery life has decreased to 27 hours with ANC enabled, compared to 30 hours in the previous version.

The WH-1000XM4C will be available later this autumn for $300, which is $50 cheaper than the original XM4 launch price. Simultaneously, Sony released the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 models. Both feature an improved 10-band equalizer and a gaming preset.

The WH-CH730N costs $180 and is available in black, blue, beige, white, or pink, offering up to 50 hours of battery life with ANC. The WH-CH530, which lacks ANC, costs $70 and is available in black, cobalt, mint green, white, pink, and coral, with battery life up to 55 hours.

Sony also unveiled a Hello Kitty collaboration. These limited-edition bundles include either WH-1000XM6, WH-CH730N, or WH-CH530 headphones in black or pink, along with a Hello Kitty themed case and bag. They will be sold exclusively on the Sony website later this year.
