Sony has officially launched the ULT TOWER 5 entertainment speaker, priced at ¥2999. The device features a 300W power output, incorporating a 23cm woofer and two 6cm tweeters to deliver high-performance audio.

The speaker includes a front grille with 56 integrated LED beads that sync with music rhythms, offering three preset lighting modes. Users can switch between sound profiles—ULT1, ULT2, FLAT, and LIVE—via a dedicated physical button on the front panel.

Designed for karaoke and professional use, the device provides various connectivity options, including USB-C, USB-A, 6.35mm microphone, RCA, and XLR ports. Sony plans to release a dedicated ULT MIC wireless microphone by the end of November.

The unit supports Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs, allowing for multi-point connections and stereo pairing between two speakers. It offers approximately 20 hours of playback on a single charge, with a fast-charging feature providing 100 minutes of use from a 10-minute charge.
